Additional Information

Art for the People
Inspired by the art of Keith Haring. We are bringing art on the street to our classroom today! We will learn to create our own dancing characters and iconic symbols from Keith Haring, one of the most famous street artists of all time.
Creating Hope
Inspired by humanity. All around the world, people are creating murals, parks, and mosaics to inspire hope and positive change. Children envision a model community park, and imagine ways to transform their own neighborhoods.
Creative Kids
Inspired by YOU! Let’s learn about kids around the world who are making an impact on society by making art. In this class, children create their own art projects inspired by the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and causes they are passionate about.
Cut and Paste
Inspired by the art of Hannah Höch. It’s all about cutting, tearing, arranging, and gluing photos! In this class, kids will create their own photomontages to express their ideas about the relationships between nature and industry.
Magic Self-Portraits
Inspired by the art of Frida Kahlo. This Mexican artist created over 100 self-portraits that expressed her reality, struggles and ideals. In this class, kids will create their own self-portraits in the style of magic realism to express their inner selves.
Picture Peace
Inspired by the art of Pablo Picasso. Let’s visit Picasso’s world and look at what he expresses in his anti-war painting Guernica. In this class, children create art in the style of Picasso to show their expressions of peace.
Pop Art
Inspired by the art of Andy Warhol. This American artist made everyday objects like soup cans and boxes into some of the most influential artwork of the last century. In this class, kids create a layered painting in the style of his silkscreen prints.
Project Planet
Inspired by nature. Let’s learn about collaborative community art projects that are changing minds and changing pollution laws! From oceans to butterflies, children will get inspired to create hanging mobiles to raise awareness about nature's beauty.
Story Quilts
Inspired by the art of Faith Ringgold. Let’s fly into the dreams of this African American artist! She created story quilts about her dreams and the civil-rights movement. In this class, children create their own story quilt design.
Wishing Trees
Inspired by the art of Yoko Ono. This Japanese-American artist loves to experiment with art. She challenges people to think and take action for a more peaceful world. In this class, kids create paper tree sculptures inspired by Ono’s Wish Trees.
